Warranty

When placing an order at Barrel Atelier you should be able to expect that the product will be in good condition and will function properly with normal use.

Barrel Atelier operates a 5-year warranty period, starting from the day of purchase.

Warranty at Barrel Atelier B.V.

• the product you have ordered carries a 5-year warranty;
• the relevant product is bought from Barrel Atelier B.V.;
• the warranty starts from the date of purchase;
• depending on the item you are entitled to a replacement, free repair of your item or a refund;
• cost of returning the relevant product will be carried by Barrel Atelier B.V.;
• this warranty applies in addition to and without prejudice to any other legal rights that you may already have as a consumer.

The warranty does not apply in the event that:

• wear and tear to the item can be considered normal;
• the product has been modified;
• the product has been damaged due to incorrect use, wilful acts or poor maintenance;
• faults or defects are known at the time of purchase or at the time of delivery (in that event, please contact our customer service department within 14 days).

If, despite our best efforts, you are not unhappy with our online shop, our service, or if there are any problems with your order, we take that very seriously In that event, we will make every effort to solve the problem quickly and to your satisfaction.

What to do next?

  1. Of course we will resolve your complaint as quickly as possible. You will receive our response within 2-3 working days.
  2. We ask you to not return any item before you have received our reaction to your complaint.
  3. We will investigate what exactly has gone wrong and what the cause is.
  4. As soon as this is clear, we will contact you with the aim of finding a solution together.
  5. Then we will keep you informed of what happens next.

If you are not happy about this, you can also contact the mediation department of Stichting Webshop Keurmerk of which Barrel Atelier is a member. If the mediation attempt has not led to a satisfactory solution, it is possible to submit the complaint to the Financial Services Disputes Committee (SGC).
