Rain Barrels for Collecting Rainwater
In the Netherlands, an average of 800 litres of rainwater falls per square metre each year. The easiest and most affordable way to collect this water is with a rain barrel. Rainwater can be used for watering plants and flowers, cleaning windows, and washing your car.
This wooden rain barrel is made from an authentic, reclaimed 120-litre oak whisky cask from Scotland and is a beautiful addition to any garden. Its compact 120-litre size makes it ideal if you have limited space but still want to enjoy the benefits of collecting rainwater. Crafted from oak, a durable and robust hardwood, it provides long-lasting quality. With a capacity of 120 litres, it stores plenty of rainwater to help you through dry periods. By using rainwater, you save valuable drinking water, allowing the barrel to pay for itself over time.
Our rain barrels are made from reclaimed whisky casks, making them one of the most sustainable choices for your garden.
The rain barrel comes complete with a fitted brass tap. A pre-drilled hole at the back allows connection to a downpipe using a rainwater diverter. The optional rainwater diverter (available separately) returns excess rainwater to the downpipe once the barrel is full. The lid is removable.
